Favorite Boating Spots
Caladesi Island is a Nice area for boating and the specific area here is the northern tip which is very shallow and has some nice beach areas which are fantastic for wading and swimming.

There are posted Combustion Motor Exclusion areas that do not allow you to run your motor in so be sure to stop your engine and walk you boat in if anchoring in the shallows.

You can take a Ferry from Honeymoon Island to the main area of Caladesi but this is a long ways south of where the nice private beach area is on the Northern Tip.

The water here is very shallow and normally accessible by Kayak much better than boat. However you can float in here with your motor up but be aware of changing tides or you could be stuck here until the next incoming tide.
